There are currently three full-time New Testament scholars employed by the University in the Faculty of Theology and Religion:
Dean Ireland’s Professor of the Exegesis of Holy Scripture; Fellow of Keble College
Clarendon-Laing Associate Professor in New Testament Studies; Tutorial Fellow in Theology and Religion at Keble College
Associate Professor in New Testament Studies; G.B. Caird Tutorial Fellow in Theology at Mansfield College
A number of other research-active New Testament scholars in Oxford are also Members or Associate Members of the Faculty of Theology and Religion. They do not hold professorships or associate professorships in the Faculty but may be employed elsewhere in the University or in Colleges or Permanent Private Halls, or indeed recently retired. See here for a partial list.
